Men's Soccer Improves Vs. Seattle U

April 11, 2011
SEATTLE - Head coach Jamie Clark saw improvement in his Husky soccer team in the second spring game of 2011. The Huskies battled in-town rival Seattle U on Friday, April 8 at the Starfire Complex in Tukwila.
UW got a first half goal by John Crenshaw, a sophomore on next year's team. The Marysville, Wash., native scored about 10 minutes into the game.
Newcomer Brad Bridwell scored the teams' second goal late in the second half.
"It was a decent game and our guys definitely looked better than the week before," Clark said. "We made three or four other great chances early on and then after we scored we stopped playing as well until half time. The second half saw some different line-ups but the different faces all did well culminating with the late goal."
Next up for the Huskies is the annual Alumni Game at the Dempsey Indoor on Friday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
