Former Huskies In Professional Baseball

There are currently 18 former Washington baseball players in affiliated, professional baseball, including two Major Leaguers: pitchers Tim Lincecum of the Giants and Sean White of the Mariners.
All five Huskies who were taken in this year's draft have signed and have begun their pro careers. Jake Rife is in Arizona, playing in the Angels' organization. Jason Erickson (Pirates) is off to a solid start in State College, Pa., while Brian Pearl (Reds) and Jorden Merry (Mariners) just made their first appearance in Billings, Mont., and Pulaski, Va., respectively.
Kyle Conley was the most recent to join, and he's been sent to Quad Cities in the Midwest League.
