Friberg Falls Back To 36th At U.S. Women's Open

Edina, Minn. - Former Husky Louise Friberg fell back into a tie for 36th at the U.S. Women's Open, Saturday, after carding a third-round score of 6-over 79 at Interlachen Country Club in Edina, Minn.
Friberg, a rookie on the LPGA Tour who has one tournament win under her belt this year, sits at 3-over 222 (69-74-79) heading into the tournament's final round. She will tee off at 7:20 a.m. PT.
In the third round, Friberg sank birdies on the second and 11th holes, along with five bogies and a triple-bogey on the par-four seventh hole.
