Former Huskies In Professional Baseball

Nineteen former Washington baseball players are currently active in affiliated Minor League Baseball while five others are plying their trade in independent baseball.
The list includes five members of the 2006 Husky team as Zach Clem and D.J. Neyens, who signed a free-agent contract after the draft, are both playing for Helena (Mont.) in the Brewers organization and Matt Lane is with Auburn (N.Y.) in the Blue Jays system. Kyle Parker signed with the hometown Mariners and is playing in Peoria in the Arizona League with the hope of heading to Everett to play with the Aquasox before too long. Tim Lincecum signed with the Giants and is getting his career underway at Salem-Keizer (Ore.) in the Northwest League.
