Friberg Finishes Third at ASU Invitational

Tempe, AZ - Washington junior Louise Friberg finished third at the Arizona State Invitational with a 1-under score of 215. Friberg shot even par 72 during Saturday's final round. It equaled her best tourament as a Husky. She was also third during her sophomore season at the Bay Area Classic.
UCLA's Charlotte Mayorkas won the event at 7-under 209. The Husky team placed 13th overall at 919. California took the team title with a score of 876, defeating Texas by one stroke.
The Huskies final round score of 304 was Washington's best during the 54-hole event.
Husky senior Lindsay Morgan was 19th overall at 224 after shooting 76 during the final round. Sung Ea Lee was 63 at 233 while Michelle Grafos finished 87 at 247. Breana Minnitti finshed the tournament at 265.
Washington's next tournament is April 12-13 at the California Collegiate in Palo Alto, Calif.
