Lee Stays in Contention at Pac-10 Championships

Corvallis, OR - Washington freshman golfer Sung Ea Lee (Tacoma) shot 76 during the second round of the Pac-10 Championships and remains five strokes out of first place. Lee opened play Thursday with a 1-under 71 and enters Saturday's final round at 3-over 147. Arizona State's Blair O'Neal leads the tournament at 2-under 142 while California's Vikki Laing and USC's Mikaela Parmlid are tied for second at 143.
After shooting 300 on the first day of play, the Huskies carded a 314 during the second round to slip back one spot to sixth in the team standings. After 36 holes the Huskies are at 614. California leads the tournament at 591, five strokes ahead of Arizona and USC. UCLA is fourth at 598 and Arizona State is fifth at 605.
Washington's Lindsay Morgan is 16th at 8-over 152 while Louise Friberg is one stroke back in 19th place. Michelle Grafos is 52nd at 164 and Katie Kofmehl is 59th at 178.
