Husky Golfers 12th at The Schenkel

Statesboro, GA - The 12th-ranked Washington men's golf team is in 12th place after the first 36 holes of play at the Schenkel EZ-GO Invitational in Statesboro, Ga. At 589, the Huskies are 20 strokes behind tournament leader Augusta State. Wake Forest is second at 573.
Washington shot 301 during the opening round of play. The Huskies improved their second-round score by 13 strokes, shooting 288.
Washington's Dan Potter is tied for 18th after posting rounds of 74 and 71 for 1-over 145. Clemson's D.J. Trahan leads the field at 6-under 138. He posted back-to-back rounds of 69. Three golfers are tied for second at 140.
The Huskies' John Robertson is tied for 25th at 2-over 146. Robertson turned in rounds of 75 and 71. Brock Mackenzie shot 74 and 75 to finish at 5-over 149 and is in 48th position. Corey Prugh shot 78 and 71 and is also tied for 48th at 149. Conner Robbins carded an 80 and 77 to place 73rd at 157.
The final 18 holes of The Schenkel will be played Sunday at the Forest Heights Country Club course.
