Bomar Named To Pac-10 All-Academic

SEATTLE - Senior pitcher Mike Bomar was named to the Pacific-10 Conference All-Academic baseball team, the conference office announced yesterday.
Bomar, a lefty from Brush Prairie, Wash. (Prairie HS), completed his college career with a 3.62 grade point average, majoring in political science.
A reliever during the 2001 season, Bomar posted a 1-0 record with a 4.45 earned run average over 15 appearances. He allowed 30 hits and struck out 26 over 30.1 innings of work as a senior.
Three Huskies received honorable mention from the Pac-10: junior pitcher Zack Daniels (Fircrest, Wash./Charles Wright Academy), junior third baseman Michael Done (Littleton, Colo./Arapahoe HS), and senior second baseman Marc Rittenhouse (Bellevue, Wash./Newport HS).
