Washington Women's Golfers Fourth at Stanford

Stanford, CA - The Washington women's golf team dropped one spot from Friday's opening round to finish fourth at Stanford's Peg Barnard Collegiate at the Stanford Golf Course. The Cardinal shot a tournament-low 294 to win the tournament with a score of 595. Washington shot 309 on Saturday to finish at 615.
The Huskies' top golfer was senior Elisha Au, who carded a 75 to finish in a three-way tie for ninth. It marked the first time Au has led Washington in scoring since she won the Hawaii Invitational on Nov. 1. Husky junior Kelli Kamimura, who has been the team's top finisher in the previous three tournaments, shot 77 during the final 18 holes to finish 16th.
Oregon's Jerilyn White took top honors individually, shooting an even par 144 for the tourney.
Washington's other scores included a 154 by Lindsay Morgan to place 18th, a 161 by Louise Friberg to finish 161 and a pair of 162s by Bianca Clark and Michelle Grafos to tie for 38th.
The Huskies next tournament will be April 23-25 when Washington competes at the Pac-10 Championships.
