Fox Sports Selects Two Husky Football Games for Telecast

Seattle - The Pac-10 Conference announced that Fox Sports Net will broadcast two of Washington's home games during the upcoming 2000 season. Washington's Oct. 7 game with Oregon State will be aired on Fox Sports Net's national cable network. The game time between the Huskies and Beavers has been moved to 7 p.m. Washington's Oct. 21 homecoming game against California will be played at 3:30 p.m. and will air on Fox Sports Net's syndicated network of stations.
Earlier this year ABC Sports announced it would carry at least three of Washington's games in the upcoming 2000 season. The network will televise the Huskies' games with Miami, UCLA and Colorado. The Miami game, slated for Sept. 9, will kickoff at 12:30 p.m. PT. The Colorado contest, set for Sept. 16, will also kickoff at 12:30 p.m. PT. Washington's Nov. 11 home game with UCLA has been moved to a 4 p.m. PT start to accommodate the network schedule.
Last season, 10 of Washington's 11 regular-season games were broadcast to a national or regional television audience.
