ABC Sports Selects Three Husky Football Games

Seattle - The Pac-10 Conference announced that ABC Sports will broadcast at least three of Washington's games in the upcoming 2000 season. The network will televise the Huskies' games with Miami, UCLA and Colorado. The Miami game, slated for Sept. 9, will kickoff at 12:30 p.m. PT. The Colorado contest, set for Sept. 16, will also kickoff at 12:30 p.m. PT. Washington's Nov. 11 home game with UCLA has been moved to a 4 p.m. PT start to accommodate the network schedule.
Fox Sports Net will make its early selections this month and the conference office will announce them in early June.
Last season, 10 of Washington's 11 regular-season games were broadcast to a national or regional television audience.
