Golfers Earn Regional Bid

SEATTLE - The Washington women's golf team earned a bid to the NCAA West Regional Tournament as the field was announced Monday. The Huskies are a No. 10 seed in the Far West District and will compete at Arizona State University, May 11-13.
The Huskies, who finished eighth at the Pac-10 Championships last week, will challenge for a berth to the NCAA Championships, May 24-27 at the Crosswater Course at the Sunriver Resort in Bend, Ore.
The West Regional includes 11 teams and two individuals from the West District and 13 teams and four individuals from the Far West District. Eleven teams and three individuals will advance to the NCAA Championships.
