Husky Rowers Head South to Face OSU

This Week:
Washington travels south on I-5 to meet Oregon State for the annual dual regatta, hosted by the Beavers. Racing takes place on Lake Vancouver, on the Washington-Oregon border and begins at 9 a.m.
This marks the first of two straight road trips for the Huskies, who travel to Redwood Shores for the annual dual with California next weekend (April 29). The remaining home appearance for Washington comes May 6 for the 14th annual Windermere Cup and Opening Day festivities. The Egptian National men's and women's teams along with the US Naval Academy will participate.
Following that, the Huskies gear up for the Pac-10 Conference Championships, May 14 in Sacramento, Calif.
For the second week in a row, the Washington women's team stands atop the USRowing Coaches Poll as the No. 1 team in the nation. The Husky men's team remains in the same spot as well, at No. 3. The Oregon State women check in at No. 14 while the men are No. 18.
Washington's varsity men's and women's eights are coming off a sweep of Wisconsin last weekend on Montlake Cut.
