UW Wins 12 of 15 Matches at Husky Fall Challenge

SEATTLE- The Washington men's tennis team fared well on the first day of the Husky Fall Challenge, winning 12 of the 15 matches it played against Minnesota and Oregon. The flighted, round-robin tournament continues on Saturday at noon.
Nick Quatrochi won both singles matches he played, and he teamed with Christoph Kull to win at No. 2 doubles. Kull and Marius Lunde were the only other Huskies to play twice in singles. Kull split his matches, while Lunde dropped both. Lunde, however, paired with Jeff Eicher to win at doubles.
Others to pick up singles wins were Robert Kendrick, Andy Posavac, Jeremy Berman, Chuck Tille and Jeff Eicher. Also winning doubles matches were Kendrick/Berman, Kull/Quatrochi and Posavac/Ruby.
