Huskies Shut Out Gonzaga in Men's Tennis, 7-0

Seattle, WA -- Washington's 18th-ranked men's tennis team shut out the Gonzaga Bulldogs 7-0 this evening at the Nordstrom Tennis Center. The Huskies improve their record to 5-1 on the season. Washington won the doubles point and swept all six singles matches.
Eighth-ranked Robert Kendrick upped his record to 16-3 with a 6-2, 6-1 No. 2 singles win over former Husky Martin Gamling. Senior Eric Drew remains undefeated at 6-0 with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Gonzaga's Ken Bang in No. 1 singles play. Drew moves into a tie for fourth-place on Washington's all-time career singles wins list with 69 victories. Head coach Matt Anger moved into fourth-place on Washington's all-time coaching wins list. He has 64 career coaching wins.
