TEMPE, Ariz. - Washington carded a 319 in wet and windy conditions in the second round of the ASU Invitational at Karsten Golf Course. Arizona State carded a tournament-low 292 to grab the lead after 36-holes with a 597.
Washington finished the day tied for 11th with USC with a two round score of 636. Kelli Kamimura leads Washington, tied for 13th place after a 79 on the 6,101-yard, par-72 course with a 154. Senior Jennifer Stapleton matched that mark and sits in 34th with a 158. Elisha Au carded her second 81 and is tied for 59th with a 162. Andrea Cordova logged 80 to round out the UW scoring.
Duke's Beth Bauer leads the tournament with a 3-over-par 147. She leads Arizona State's Grace Park by a stroke.
The third and final round of the 54-hole tournament begins tomorrow morning.
