Waibel Named MPSF Player of the Week

SEATTLE -- Washington soccer player Craig Waibel has been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Week after his stellar play this past weekend in the NIKE Husky Classic.
The senior defender earned co-most valuable player honors in the tournament and was UW's leading goal-scorer, netting his first two career goals. Waibel scored in the 5-1 win over Wisconsin on Friday off a penalty kick, and his open-field goal was the only Husky score in a 2-1 loss to Wake Forest on Sunday.
