Rashell Continues Strong Play at Wolfpack Classic

RENO, Nev. - Rashell Continues Strong Play at Wolf Pack Classic RENO, Nev. -- Rob Rashell is tied for 3rd at the Wolf Pack Classic after carding 143 in the first two rounds of the three round tournament. Rashell carded an even-par second round after firing a 1-under 71 in the first round. Washington is tied with San Jose State for sixth place in the 18-team tournament, 16 strokes back of Oregon and Oregon State.
Rashell, who placed second last week in the Northwest Invitational, has been at par or under in seven of his eight rounds this season.
Washington sophomore Scott Kral tied for 11th, just one stroke behind Rashell and six others for third.
Nevada's Justin Peters enters Tuesday's final round at the Lightning W Ranch at 4-under, two strokes better than the 142 of Adrian Burtner of Oregon.
