Men's Tennis Blanks Oregon, 7-0

EUGENE, Ore. - Washington's 18th-ranked men's tennis team recorded its fifth shut out of the season with a 7-0 defeat of 62nd-ranked Oregon to improve its record to 8-4. The Ducks drop to 3-7. It was Washington's 38th straight win over the Ducks and lead the all-time series 97-5-1.
Eric Drew moved in to fifth-place on Washington's all-time doubles win list teaming up with Robert Kendrick to defeat Oregon's duo of Bertrand Devillers and Thomas Schneiter 8-2 in No. 1 doubles play. Drew-Kendrick improved their doubles record to 7-2 on the season.
The third-ranked Kendrick upped his record to 20-4 with a 7-6, 7-5 win over Devillers in No. 2 singles action. No. 74 Andy Posavac won his 17th match of the season, good for second on the team with a 17-6 record and Jeremy Berman won today to win his 11th match in his last 13 contests. Berman's record is 15-4.
