Kendrick Wins Two, Rolls to Semifinal Round at Men's Rolex

Dallas, Texas - Washington men's tennis player Robert Kendrick defeated two ranked opponents today in the Rolex National Intercollegiate Indoor Championship held at the Brookhaven Country Club.
The eighth-ranked Husky sophomore breezed by fourth-ranked Mark Loughrin of Wisconsin 6-1, 6-0 in the Round of 16 to begin the day and defeated Rice's 15th-ranked Efe Ustundag in the quarterfinal round 6-7, 6-4, 6-4. He faces 10th-ranked Peter Handoyo of Tennessee tomorrow in the semifinal round. Finals are set for Sunday.
Kendrick improved his record to 14-2 and has won nine straight matches, including victories over eight of nine ranked opponents.
