Drew, Kendrick Advance in Pac-10 Doubles

Ojai, CA - Husky sophomore Robert Kendrick, ranked seventh nationally, lost in the quarterfinal round of singles play at the Pac-10 Championships but won his round of 16 doubles match earlier today.
Kendrick (29-7) lost to 42nd-ranked Geoff Abrams of Stanford 6-1, 6-4 but teamed up with Eric Drew to defeat Oregons David Becker and Thomas Schneiter 6-1, 6-3 in doubles action. The 10th-ranked Husky duo improved to 14-3. The doubles win set records for both players. Drew becomes Washingtons all-time doubles wins leader with 69 and Kendrick tallied his 25th doubles win this year, good for the top spot for most doubles wins in one season.
