Husky Rowers Host Fall Regattas
Men, women prepare the Pair Head and Head of the Lake Regattas this weekend.

SEATTLE - The Washington mens and womens rowing programs will host a pair of home races this weekend, with the Pair Head taking place Sat., Nov. 13 and the Head of the Lake following on Sun., Nov. 14. Racing begins at 8 a.m. on the Montlake Cut. Several Northwest crews are expected to participate.
Washington opens its spring, 2000 season March 25 with the annual Class Day Regatta. The Husky varsity men are coming off a third place finish at the 1999 IRA Championships while the UW women earned a third place team finish at the 99 NCAA Championships.
