2022 Washington Hometown Heroes Nomination Form
The University of Washington and Starbucks share the belief that all those who have served in the military or those who have demonstrated a great impact as an inspiration to others, deserve to be celebrated for their acts of courage and exceptional service. That's why we've come together to recognize heroes from our hometown community.
Do you know a military service member, first-responder, front-line worker, teacher or someone who has made a great impact on the Seattle Community? Tell us about them because they deserve to be recognized!
Nominate your community hero using the form here and let us know why they are a Hometown Hero. We will select one individual to be celebrated, one at every home Husky football game of the 2022 season.
Honorees will receive a pre-recorded recognition and a special gift from the Washington Huskies and Starbucks (Subject to change).
Deadline for applications is 3 weeks before the game, and those selected will be notified 2 weeks prior to the game (at the latest).
Details:
- All of the information required on the online form must be submitted in full at the time of the nomination
- All nominations must be submitted via the online form, and no mailed, emailed, written, or phone nominations will be accepted
- Husky Athletics will make every attempt to select an even number of nominations from the Seattle Community including military service members, first-responders, front-line workers, teachers or someone who has made a great impact in the Community (subject to information received during the nomination process).
- Each person chosen will have the ability to pick a charity/organization to also be represented at the Husky game.
