2021: Threw the discus, hammer, and shot put outdoors, competing in the discus at the Pac-12 Championships … had a season-best discus throw of 161-8 at the Jim Click Shootout to place sixth … 20th in the discus at Pac-12s … third in the discus at the UW-WSU Dual at 148-1 and was fifth in the hammer and fourth in the shot put … hammer PR of 162-11 at the Jim Bush Legends Invite for fourth … indoors, put the shot at two meets, with a best of 41-10 ¾ at the Husky Classic … made the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2020 (Indoor Track; Outdoor Season Canceled): Competed at three meets during the indoor season … set a weight throw PR of 47-2 1/2 at the UW Indoor Preview … season-best shot put of 42-5 1/2 at the UW Invitational … a Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll selection.
2019: Threw three implements in the outdoor season but found the most success in the discus, where she scored at her first Pac-12 Championships, made the Husky top-10 list and qualified for NCAA Prelims … threw a personal-best in the discus of 170-2 to win the Ken Shannon Invitational and go to No. 7 in school history … scored in the discus at Pac-12s with a seventh-place finish, tossing 160-11 … at NCAA West Prelims, placed 32nd overall with a best discus toss of 161-2 … threw the disc 163-3 at the Beach Invitational to finish 26th overall … scored in three events at the UW-WSU Dual, winning the discus at 158-10, taking third in the javelin at 132-8 and third in the shot put at 41-2 1/2 … outdoor shot put season-best of 44-3 1/2 at the National Relays … season-best javelin throw of 135-3 at the Stanford Invitational … indoors, redshirted the season, competing unattached at four meets in the shot put … best indoor shot put of 44-4 1/4 at the Last Chance Elite Meet.
2018: Redshirted the outdoor season after completing a full indoor season … indoors, threw the shot and the weight, with a best weight throw of 44-8 ¼ at the Husky Classic and a best shot put mark of 40-4 ¾ at the UW Indoor Open … outdoors, competed twice unattached in the discus and shot put … at the Ken Shannon Invite, took second in the discus with a throw of 150-9 and third in the shot put at 43-5.
High School and Personal: Born in Kent, Washington … parents are June and David Mehl … has two older brothers, Jake and Patrick … one of the most accomplished all-around athletes in the state of Washington, as she was named the Seattle Times High School Female Athlete of the Year in 2017 and the Tacoma News Tribune Female Athlete of the Year as well as she was a standout in volleyball, basketball, as well as in the throws … in the throws, she won two 4A State Championships in the shot put as a sophomore and a senior … also had a combined four runner-up state finishes in the shot put, discus and javelin and a third-place finish, as she scored a total of 58 points at the state meet over her career … as a senior in 2017, she won the shot put, and took second in the discus and second in the javelin … set a shot put PR of 47-3 during her senior year in a win at the Nike/Jesuit Twilight Relays … a four-year letterwinner in volleyball, an All-League First Team pick and named to the state championship All-Tournament Team.
