Reimer Receives National Pitcher Of The Week Recognition

SEATTLE – With an incredible start to her sophomore campaign under her belt, Morgan Reimer has been tabbed D1 Softball's National Pitcher of the Week, the organization announced Tuesday morning.
The Huskies' sophomore pitched 16 innings in the circle and posted a 1.75 ERA along the way, helping lead her team to a road series sweep over Michigan. Reimer was 4-0 on the week and recorded 17 strikeouts.
Reimer leads the Big Ten with 17 wins in the circle. The sophomore is 17-1 on the season, already surpassing her freshman year total of 16 wins 32 games into the 2026 season.
She has the second-best ERA in the Big Ten (1.49), including 76 total strikeouts across a league-high 94 innings pitched.
The Langley, B.C. native has handed out 5+ strikeouts in eight games this season, adding six Big Ten wins to her resume.
This is the first national award for Reimer, who began 2026 on the Big Ten Players to Watch List and concluded her freshman season a year ago with NCFA All-Mountain Region Third Team honors.
