
Washington Battles Through Big Four Quad In Pennsylvania

UNIVERSITY PARK – Washington recorded a 194.425 at the B1G 4 Meet. Michigan took the win scoring a 197.475, Penn State came close with a 197.225 and Nebraska took third scoring a 195.200.
The Huskies started on vault scoring a 48.775. Kristin Lin led the rotation with a 9.800, while Kira Bolden followed shortly behind with a 9.775. Caitlin McWilliams and Jessica Schaffer both recorded a 9.750 with McWilliams matching her career-high.
Washington then moved to bars, their second-best rotation of the night, scoring a 49.050. Lilly Tubbs wowed the crowd with a soaring 9.925 to take the event title and record a new season-high. Deiah Moody followed with a 9.850 and Mary McDonough scored a 9.825 to round out the rotation.
The GymDawgs then moved to beam scoring a 47.525. Moody led the rotation with a 9.825 followed by a 9.650 scored by Olivia Oppegard. Lana Navarro rounded out the rotation with a 9.600.
The last and final rotation was floor. The GymDawgs posted their best rotation of the night scoring a 49.075. McWilliams led the rotation with a 9.850 followed by Schaffer's 9.825. Chelsea Hallinan, Lin and Bolden all scored a 9.800.
Lin scored a 38.100 in the all-around to place third overall.
