SEATTLE — The Washington Huskies posted their second-highest team score of the season Friday night, finishing with a 196.300 in a close meet against No. 12 Minnesota Golden Gophers (196.950). The night featured multiple career highs and an event title for the GymDawgs.

Washington opened on vault with a 48.825. Kira Bolden paced the rotation with a 9.825, tying for third overall. Lilly Tubbs followed closely with a 9.800, while Mary McDonough added a 9.775.

The Huskies moved to bars and improved to a 49.000. Tubbs matched her season-high with a 9.900 to tie for second overall. Deiah Moody contributed a 9.825, and McDonough posted a 9.800. Freshman Evelyn DeYoung made her collegiate debut, scoring a 9.750.

Beam was the highlight of the night as Washington delivered a season-best 49.425, its highest rotation score of both the meet and the season. Chelsea Hallinan led the charge with a career-high 9.975 to capture the event title. Moody followed with a career-best 9.925 to tie for second, while Kristin Lin matched her season-high with a 9.875. Olivia Oppegard equaled her season-best with a 9.825, and freshman Elena Brian made her collegiate debut on beam, scoring a 9.675.

The GymDawgs closed the meet on floor with a 49.050, their second-highest event score of the night. Kira Bolden led the way with a 9.875, tying for second overall. Caitlin McWilliams followed with a 9.850, and Jessica Schaffer added a 9.800.
