
Carter Named B1G Player To Watch

SEATTLE – Reece Carter has been named a Big Ten Player to Watch, the conference office announced today. The list features 18 players and is selected by the conference head coaches.
Carter, a senior from Victoria, Canada, was an All-Big Ten First Team and College Sports Communicators All-District Team selection last season. She compiled 37 total wins in her first season on Montlake.
This fall, Carter advanced to her second career NCAA Individual Championship, making the Round of 32 in singles after her doubles appearance last season. She finished the fall with an overall record of 8-3 in singles and 5-4 in doubles alongside partner Jermine Sherif. Carter ranks 43rd in the ITA rankings.
The Huskies open the 2026 season on Jan. 4 at Hawaii at 2 p.m. PT.
