Husky Trio Named B1G Golfers To Watch

SEATTLE – Finn Koelle, Jacob Goode and Jack Murphy have been named to the Big Ten's golfers to watch list.
Koelle competed in all 11 tournaments during his sophomore campaign posting a team-best 72.22 scoring average. His best finish was a tie for fifth at the Western Intercollegiate. Koelle carded the Huskies' lowest score five times and registered eight rounds under par.
Goode enters his first season on the UW men's golf team. This summer he competed in the US Ameteur at The Olympic Golf Club and won the 114th California Amateur. At the US Open local qualifying at Shadow Hills Country Club, Goode finished seventh to be named first alternate.
As a freshman, Murphy competed in nine tournaments for the Huskies and was second on the team with a 73.74 scoring average. He paced UW in four tournaments with and had his best finish of ninth at the Southwestern Invitational.
The 2025-26 season gets underway on Saturday through Sunday at the Sahalee Players Championship at Sahalee Country Club. Visit GoHuskies.com/SPC for more information.
