
Gymnastics Posts Season-Best Road Score In Tri-Meet

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Washington gymnastics team placed second in a tri-meet against No. 10 Oregon State and Alaska on Monday night, recording its highest road score of the season with a 195.700. Oregon State won the meet with a 197.325, while Alaska finished third with a 190.775.
The Huskies emphasized a strong start, and Kira Bolden and Kristin Lin delivered on bars. In just her second appearance in the bars lineup, Bolden recorded a career-high 9.825, followed by Lin with a career-best 9.875.
Washington moved to beam, where Taylor Russon led off with a 9.775. Emily Innes followed with a 9.750, helping the Huskies maintain momentum.
The team shined on floor, posting a season-high 49.250. Caitlin McWilliams, Innes and Russon each tied their season bests, while Bolden matched her career high, contributing to the Huskies' strong showing in the event.
The Huskies closed out the meet on vault, with Mary McDonough and Lin tying their season-best scores of 9.850 and 9.775, respectively.
McDonough posted a career-high 39.275 all-around performance as well.
