Dawgs Set To Face Boise State In Bucked Up L.A. Bowl Hosted By Gronk

The Washington football team has been selected to take on Boise State in the Bucked Up L.A. Bowl, Hosted by Gronk. The Huskies and Broncos will play this Saturday, Dec. 13, at 5:00 p.m. PT, at SoFi Stadium, in Inglewood, Calif.

The game, which will air on ABC-TV, marks the Huskies' first-ever trip to the L.A. Bowl, and will be the Dawgs' seventh game vs. Mountain West Conference champion Boise State. The two have twice met in bowl games โ the 2012 and 2019 Las Vegas Bowls.

Washington wrapped up its second season under head coach Jedd Fisch with an 8-4 overall record. The Huskies will be playing in their 44th bowl game. The L.A. Bowl will be the 12th different bowl game in which Washington has played over the last 16 seasons (2010-26).

Boise State enters the game with a 9-4 record and a win over UNLV in the MWC title game. Next year, Boise State will make a move to the Pac-12 Conference. UW is 4-2 head-to-head vs. the Broncos.
