Luis Kortright The Latest To Join UW Men's Basketball

SEATTLE – Washington continued to fill out its 2024-25 roster with the addition of Rhode Island transfer Luis Kortright.

Luis Kortright, a 6'3" guard from Manhattan, N.Y., started 31 games for the Rams last season, averaging 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. He led the team in assists and steals while shooting a career-best 43.7 percent.

"We're excited to add another skilled ball-handling guard to our team," Head Coach Danny Sprinkle said of Kortright. "Luis is big and physical and has proven his ability to score and facilitate at the D1 level. We are excited to get our group of guards competing in practice."

Kortright also averaged double figures as a freshman and a junior at Quinnipiac, where he played three seasons. He averaged a career-high 3.9 assists in his junior season.
