Jaden McDaniels Earns NBA All-Defensive Honors

Former Washington standout and current Minnesota Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels was named to the NBA's All-Defensive Second Team on Tuesday, the league announced.
 
McDaniels is the first Husky to receive All-NBA recognition since Matisse Thybulle earned his second All-Defensive selection in 2022.
 
Three of the eight Huskies currently playing in the NBA have earned All-Defensive recognition at some point in their careers. Dejounte Murray became the youngest player to make any All-Defensive team in 2018.
 
McDaniels is the fourth Washington product in NBA history to earn All-Defensive honors.
