
Killough-Wilhelm Named NCAA All-American

FORT WORTH, Texas – Skylar Killough-Wilhelm earned a 39.550 in the all-around at the 2024 Women's National Collegiate Gymnastics Championships Thursday afternoon in her first Nationals debut.
Killough-Wilhelm was rotating with Cal, alongside LSU, Arkansas and Stanford in session 1 of the NCAA semifinal. LSU (198.1125) and Cal (197.7125) finished in the top two of the quad to advance to the National Championships on Saturday. Stanford finished third (197.075) and Arkansas finished fourth (196.475).
In session one of the National Semifinal, Killough-Wilhelm tied for first place on bars with a 9.925 to finish the season as a First Team All-American on bars.
The senior notched a 9.850+ score across all four events on Thursday afternoon to etch her name as a Second Team All-American in the all-around.
Killough-Wilhelm became just the 10th GymDawg to earn NCAA All-American status and the first All-American since 2020 for Washington.
She also is the seventh UW gymnast to earn at least two All-American honors in one season and one of two to do it in the 21st century. The other was Evanni Roberson in 2020, who was an NCAA All-American Beam Second Team and All-Around Second Team.
Killough-Wilhelm earned a 9.8875 floor score Thursday afternoon, as the National Championships events are each scored by four judges, to start her impressive performance.
She followed up floor with a 9.850 on beam. Killough-Wilhelm tied for first overall on bars (9.925) in the first session alongside Courtney Blackson (Boise State), Haleigh Bryant (LSU), Lily Smith (Georgia) and Reese Drotar (Arkansas).
The senior bookended her all-around performance with another 9.8875 on beam to finish with an all-around score of 39.550.
The 39.550 placed her fifth on the all-around and earned her a Second Team All-American status on the all-around.
She finished behind Haleigh Bryant from LSU (39.7125), Mya Lauzon from Cal (39.6375), Anna Roberts from Stanford (39.6375) and Kiya Johnson from LSU (39.6125).
