Huskies Hit Three Home Runs; Secure Series Over OSU

The Huskies improve to 24-5 and 8-3 in Pac-12 action. UW has won its fourth consecutive Pac-12 series.
Lindsay Lopez got the start and tossed her third complete game of the season, all coming during conference play, to improve to 8-1. She has four wins in conference action. Lopez struck out six and allowed no walks. She faced five batters over the minimum.
Eight different Huskies recorded a hit during the game in Rylee Holtorf, Alana Johnson, Kinsey Fiedler, Olivia Johnson, Brooke Nelson, Sydney Stewart, Giselle Alvarez and Brooklyn Carter. Fiedler led the way with three RBI while Nelson drove in two.
In the first, walks to Hobson and A. Johnson brought up Fiedler who sent her sixth home run of the season out to center. Nelson followed with a home run of her own two batters later after O. Johnson reached on a single to make it 5-0 for the Dawgs.

The Huskies added a run in the fourth on Stewart's fourth home run of the season. The Dawgs plated another in the fifth on an O. Johnson RBI groundout.

Oregon State brought in a run in the seventh on a RBI double by Maddy Clark to bring the score to its final.
The series finale vs. Oregon State is set for Saturday afternoon with a 1 p.m. first pitch from Husky Softball Stadium. The game will stream on the Washington Live Stream and audio will also be available on GoHuskies.com.
