Navarro Selected As Pac-12 Coaches Choice Of The Week

SEATTLE --Β Junior Lana Navarro is this week's Pac-12 Coaches Choice of the Week after tying her career-best on two of her three events last weekend at then-No. 16 Oregon State.Β
Navarro has competed in every vault, beam and floor lineup this season for the second consecutive year. She competed on all three events aside from two beam lineups her freshman year.Β
Navarro tied her career-high 9.900 on vault Friday at Oregon State to go along with a career-best-tying 9.900 on floor to match a mark she's hit twice before on the floor exercise. She also added a 9.875 on beam that matched her season-best on the event.Β
This is the first conference weekly honor of Navarro's career. She is the second Husky this season to earn the honor, after Skylar Killough-Wilhelm was tabbed conference Coaches Choice of the week Feb. 13.Β
