Huskies Finish Tied For Fourth, Koelle Second, At Amer Ari

WAIMEA, Hawaii – A day after setting the program record for the lowest team score in a single round, No. 5 Washington posted the second-lowest 54-hole team score in program history on Saturday at the Amer Ari, finishing 57 strokes under par at 807 to tie for fourth.

The Huskies 269 for Round 3 is tied for the 7^th-lowest round in program-history. Much of that work was done on the back nine, where Washington racked up 14 birdies to just four bogeys.

The history doesn't stop there. Completing the weekend of his young collegiate career, true freshman Finn Koelle fired a four-under 68 on Saturday, becoming just the sixth-husky ever to card a 198 or lower over 54 holes. At 18-under par for the tournament, Koelle tied for runner up.

Keeping pace all weekend, Petr Hruby finished tied for eighth at -15. Hruby's 67 third round was matched by teammates Taehoon Song and Teddy Lin, who finished tied for 33^rd and tied for 36^th, respectively.

Finishing off the five scorers for the Huskies, Bo Peng posted an up-and-down day, including an eagle on hole No. 2, finished the tournament at -3 to tie for 78^th. Individually, Drew Warford also carded an eagle on the second hole, his third eagle in as many days, was two-under on the day and the weekend to tie for 84^th.

Hruby, Lin, Peng and Song will now head to the Genesis Collegiate Showcase, set for Feb. 12 at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.
