Huskies' Big Ten Schedule For 2025 Football Season Revealed

Washington's 2025 football season has now taken shape as the Big Ten Conference revealed the league schedule for the coming season this morning on Big Ten Network.

While the Huskies' 2025 home and road opponents had already been identified, today's announcement has provided the order of the games. Here's a look at the 2025 Husky football schedule:

Sometime later in the off-season, the Big Ten and its television partners will select games from across the conference to be played on Fridays. While the Huskies' schedule could see a game or games moved to Friday, the order of games and the weekends on which they will be played will not change.

Following the completion of the non-conference schedule, the Huskies open the Big Ten season vs. Ohio State, as the Buckeyes make their first visit to Seattle since 2007, for a rematch of the 2019 Rose Bowl Game.

That game is followed by the Huskies' first-ever visit to Maryland. The only prior UW-Maryland game came in the 1982 Aloha Bowl, a 21-20 Husky win. On Oct. 11, Rutgers travels to Seattle. The two teams played in a conference game last year in New Jersey, and last squared off in Seattle in 2016.

On Oct. 18, Washington makes its fifth-ever trip to Michigan Stadium, where the Dawgs last played in 2021. The next week, Washington and Illinois will play for the 12th time ever, in a series that dates back to 1950. The Illini last played at Husky Stadium in 2014.

After an off week Nov. 1, Washington heads to Madison to face Wisconsin at Camp Randall Stadium. The last time the two UW's played in Madison, and the last time they faced off anywhere was in Seattle in 1992.

Nov. 15, Purdue comes to Seattle for the first time since 1989. It will be the 11th all-time meeting between the Huskies and Boilermakers.

The 2025 regular season closes out against two long-time rivals. Nov. 23, the Huskies travel to Pasadena to face UCLA and, the following weekend, Oregon heads north to Husky Stadium for the regular-season finale.

Tickets to the Huskies' New Year's Eve bowl game against Louisville, in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas on Dec. 31, are also available now.ย Washington Football season ticket holders will receive priority seat locations in the official UW allotment as long as they order their tickets by Friday, Dec 13 at 4 p.m. PT. General public Sun Bowl tickets are also available now, and will be assigned seats after all season ticket holders, based on availability.
