
Washington Announces 2025 Baseball Schedule

SEATTLE β Washington head baseball coach Eddie Smith announced his first schedule as the skipper of the Husky program on Wednesday in conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, which released the league slate for the 2025 season.

The Huskies are scheduled to play 55 games during the 2025 season, including 23 contests in Seattle at Husky Ballpark.

Washington will kick off the 2025 season in Conway, South Carolina, from Feb. 14-17, squaring off against Kansas State, host Coastal Carolina and Saint Joseph's. The Dawgs will remain on the road the following weekend, squaring off with Stanford in Palo Alto, California, before making a quick trip north to face San Francisco on Feb. 26.

UW will then head to Sin City to take part in the Las Vegas Classic Feb. 28 β March 2, joining Illinois, Texas and Texas Tech. Matchups for the Las Vegas Classic are set to be announced on Thursday.

The Diamond Dawgs will make their home debut on March 4 at Husky Ballpark, facing Portland in a midweek afternoon tilt before opening Big Ten play on the road at Nebraska March 7-9. The Huskies and Pilots will square off in a rematch in Stumptown on March 11.

Washington's first weekend series at Husky Ballpark is scheduled for March 14-16 against in-state foe Gonzaga, kicking off an eight-game homestand. UW will play Pacific Lutheran in a pair of midweeks March 18-19 before resuming Big Ten play at home against Maryland March 21-23.

The Huskies and longtime Pac-12 rival Oregon State will matchup on March 25 in Hillsboro, Oregon, before hitting the east coast, taking on Rutgers March 28-30 in Piscataway, New Jersey, and St. John's in Queens on April 1.

Washington will play Purdue in a weekend set April 4-6 at Husky Ballpark, staying home the following Tuesday for the first of three matchups with Seattle U.
The Huskies return to the road April 11-13 at UCLA for a west coast Big Ten affair. The Dawgs will then welcome Seattle U back to Husky Ballpark on April 15 before hosting Illinois for a three-game series April 18-20.

Washington will rematch with Seattle U on April 22, making the short trip to Bellevue to face the Redhawks at Bannerwood Park.

UW will then head to the Chicagoland area for four games, first taking on Northwestern in Evanston, Illinois, April 25-27 before battling UIC in Chicago on April 28.

Washington will begin May at home, hosting Iowa at Husky Ballpark for three games between the 2nd and 4th. The Huskies will then play their final road series at Oregon May 9-11 before concluding the regular season at home against USC, May 15-17.
