Washington will enter crews in the men's and women's championship eights, as well as the men's championship four and the men's club eight. UW will also have alumni crews racing in both the men's and women's events. There will be two Husky crews in the women's champ eights event.

The Head of the Charles is a three-day regatta held on the Charles River in Boston. It's the largest three-day regatta in the world. The time-trial races are run over a three-mile course that begins at Boston University's DeWolfe Boathouse and ends just after the Eliot Bridge and just before Northeastern University's Henderson Boathouse. The race course runs under six bridges that span the Charles from Boston to Cambridge.

Washington will also be represented by a number of alumni competing in various race categories for various clubs.
