2025 Boeing Apple Cup Game Will Be Played On Sept. 20

The 2025 Boeing Apple Cup game will be played on Sept. 20, 2025, the Washington and Washington State athletic departments have agreed.
The game, which will be played in Pullman, has been on the schedule since UW and WSU announced a deal to play an annual football game for the 2024 through 2028 seasons, but the specific date had not been set until now. The 2025 and 2027 games will be played at Gesa Stadium in Pullman, while the 2026 and 2028 games will take place at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium.
Specific dates for the 2026, 2027 and 2028 games will be determined at a later time.
Washington's 2025 football schedule opens with home games vs. Colorado State (Aug. 30 and UC Davis (Sept. 6), and the gama at WSU on Sept. 20. The weekend of Sept. 14 could be utilized for a conference game, or could serve as an off week, but is not necessarily either.
The conference schedule has not yet been determined, but it has been announced that Washington will play 2025 Big Ten Conference home games vs. Illinois, Ohio State, Oregon, Purdue and Rutgers; and road games at Maryland, Michigan, UCLA and Wisconsin.
