Trice Adds Bednarik Award Watch List To Preseason Honors

Washington's Bralen Trice has been named to the Chuck Bednarik Award watch list, the Maxwell Football Club announced today.
Trice, a 2022 All-Pac-12 First Team and 2023 Preseason All-America First Team selection, returns to the Huskies after starting in 12 games last season and leading the team with nine sacks. He was named Pac-12 Defensive Line Player of the Week following the win at Cal where he tallied five tackles with a pair of sacks. Trice was named the Defensive MVP at the Valero Alamo Bowl after five tackles and a sack against the Longhorns.
Trice was also tabbed to the Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list earlier this month.
Semifinalists for the Chuck Bednarik Award will be announced November 13, 2023, while the three finalists for the Bednarik Award will be unveiled November 28, 2023. The winners of the 29th Chuck Bednarik Award will be announced as part of the ESPN Home Depot College Football Awards Show held on December 7, 2023.
