Washington Advances To Pac-12 Semifinals

TUCSON, Ariz. – No. 5 Washington shutout Oregon State 1-0 in its opening game of the inaugural Pac-12 Tournament on Thursday afternoon at Hillenbrand Stadium.
Ruby Meylan tossed her seventh shutout of the season and 12th complete game on the way to her 16th win. Meylan allowed only three hits with one walk and a strikeout.
Madison Huskey led the way with two hits – both singles.
Jadelyn Allchin brought across the lone run on a solo homer to lead off the second inning. The home run was Allchin's fourth of the season.
Washington will face Utah in the semifinals on Friday afternoon. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m. and airing on ESPNU. Follow along for the latest tournament information here.
