SERIES HISTORY VS. ARIZONA STATE
The Huskies and Sun Devils have been facing off every year since 1998, with Arizona State owning a 43-29 all-time advantage, including 22-17 in Seattle. While the Sun Devils have taken the last two series against the Huskies, the Dawgs had won four consecutive series against ASU from 2016-19.

LEADER IN THE CLUBHOUSE
Will Simpson leads the Pac-12 and ranks 15th in the nation with 13 home runs this season. The 13 big flies is a career high for the Husky slugger and the most by a UW player since Joe Wainhouse's 19 in 2018. Simpson has slugged 31 homers in his career, seventh most in program history. The Huskies are 9-3 this season when Simpson goes deep.

The UW closer has made nine straight appearances without allowing a run, totaling 11.1 innings. During the stretch, Matter has struck out 15 batters, while issuing just three hits. Matter has earned four saves this season, sixth most in the Pac-12.
