February 08, 2023 | Men's Golf
WAIMEA, Hawai'i – The first round of the Amer Ari Intercollegiate, where the Washington men's golf team began play today, was canceled due to windy conditions.
The 20 competing teams at Hapuna Golf Course were about halfway through their rounds when play was suspended. The hosts eventually decided to end play for the day. None of Wednesday's scoring will count, and the tournament will start at the beginning of round one again on Thursday morning, at 7:00 a.m. HT/9:00 a.m. PT. The teams will try to play 36 holes on Thursday and 18 on Friday.
