
Kelly names Parker Guinn as volunteer assistant

SEATTLE - Washington head baseball coach Jason Kelly has announced Parker Guinn as volunteer coach.

Parker joins the UW after serving as Everett Community College Head Coach in 2021.Β Prior to EvCC, Guinn spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Utah where he was worked with the catchers.Β Guinn also coached first base and was assistant hitting coach.Β

"We are thankful to have Parker join the team," said Head Coach Jason Kelly.Β "Along with understanding the Seattle baseball community, he brings energy, experience and passion for serving student-athletes.Β Having him on the team makes us better."

Guinn attended Gig Harber High School and played baseball at the UW from 2012-14. Β In that time, he hit .313 in 48 games as a catcher.Β Guinn also worked as a student manager in 2017.Β
