Manke Named One Of Ten Semifinalists For Ben Hogan Award

Washington's RJ Manke has been named one of 10 semifinalists for the annual Ben Hogan Award, presented by PNC Bank.
The Ben Hogan Award presented by PNC Bank annually awards the top men's NCAA Division I, II or III, NAIA or NJCAA college golfer based on all collegiate, amateur and professional events over the previous 12 months. Three of the top six players in the Official World Golf Ranking—No. 3 Jon Rahm (2015, 2016), No. 4 Viktor Hovland (2019) and No. 6 Patrick Cantlay (2012)—are past recipients of the honor, while No. 2 Collin Morikawa (2018, 2019) was a two-time finalist.
Manke, a senior from Lakewood, Wash., who transferred to the UW from Pepperdine prior to the 2021-22 season, spent most of the month of March as Golfstat.com's No. 1-ranked college men's golfer. He has finished in the top three in eight of 11 events this season and in the top 10 in all but one.
The Huskies have wrapped up the regular season, and will host the Pac-12 Championships April 25-27 at Aldarra Golf Club in Sammamish, Wash.
