Two 2022 UW Football Games Moved To Friday
March 07, 2022 | Football
Two games on the 2022 Washington football schedule have been moved from Saturday to Friday, the Pac-12 Conference announced today.
The Huskies' games at UCLA and at home vs. Oregon State have each been pushed up by a day. Washington will now take on the Bruins on Friday, Sept. 30, at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, and on Friday, Nov. 4, the Dawgs will play host to Oregon State, at Husky Stadium.
When the Pac-12 announced the 2022 league schedule last December, the announcement noted that several games could be moved from Saturday to Friday, in consultation with the Pac-12's television partners.
In addition to the UW-UCLA and UW-OSU games, an October game between Utah and WSU was moved to a Thursday. The conference also announced that UW's game at Arizona, a game that also under consideration for a change, will remain on Saturday, Oct. 15.
Here is the latest version of the 2022 Washington football schedule, which will not likely see any more changes. The Pac-12 and its television partners will announce kickoff times for the first three weeks of the season, and for most or all non-Saturday games, sometime in early summer:
