The No. 9-ranked Washington men's golf team, fresh from a dominating victory at the Duck Invitational, returns quickly to action this Thursday through Saturday, March 24-26, at The Goodwin, at Stanford Golf Course.
Β
The Goodwin, named in honor of former Stanford head coach Wally Goodwin, who passed away on July 19, 2021, is hosted by Stanford and features a field of 28 teams (including seven Pac-12 programs), which will play one round per day over three days.
Β
On day one, the Huskies are scheduled to tee off on hole No. 1, between 12:10 and 1:06 p.m. PT. The Huskies will tee off in the morning in round two on Friday (hole No. 10, 7:00 to 7:56 a.m. PT). Day three pairings and tee times will be based on team standings after two rounds.
Β
Earlier this same week (Mon.-Tue., Mar. 21-22), Washington won the Duck Invitational at Eugene (Ore.) Country Club, by 17 strokes. Teddy Lin earned his first college tournament victory and UW teammates RJ Manke and Petr Hruby finished second and third. Taehoon Song (T-9th) and Noah Woolsey (T-15th) also finished among the top-15 in Eugene.
Β
Washington will send the following lineup to Stanford:
Β
1. RJ Manke
3. Noah Woolsey
2. Teddy Lin
4. Petr Hruby

Β
Following the Goodwin, the Huskies will have two weeks to prepare for their final event prior to the start of the postseason. The UW will play at the Western Intercollegiate at Pasatiempo Golf Club in Santa Cruz, Calif. That tournament will air on the Golf Channel.

Pac-12 Championships, hosted by the UW at Aldarra Golf Club in Sammamish, Wash., are Mon.-Wed., April 25-27.
