SEATTLE -- The Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association announced its academic honors for the 2020-21 season on Wednesday and the GymDawgs were well-represented.
Washington was 33rd in the country in the team GPA rankings and was one of just 58 programs across the country with a team GPA over 3.50.
Additionally, 13 GymDawgs were named Scholastic All-America Award Winners, an honor given to student-athletes with a GPA above 3.50.
Ellie Bagley, Brenna Brooks, Talia Brovedani, Amara Cunningham, Cathy Eksteen, Katie McNamara, Taylor Russon, Meaghan Ruttan, Allie Smith, Lauren Thomas, Geneva Thompson, Isa Weiss and Gabi Wickman were the members for the 2020-21 team named to the prestigious list.
This marked yet another high academic honor for the GymDawgs, who saw seven student-athletes named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll back in May.
